If I had all of the time in the world, I'd make a large bouquet of beaded flowers like this.
This is a pile of Flower Rings made with the fringe method, a technique for weaving beaded beads that Florence Turnour figured out and showed me in 2004. If you haven't tried the fringe method yet, check out this free beaded bead tutorial that Florence and I wrote together.

I love those colors Gwen! Who knew you could do THAT with the sting method! Can't wait to try it. Can I ask what size drops you are using a there?
ReplyDeleteFor the smallest drops, I used fringe drop beads, I've seen them sold as 3.4 drops. The larger drop beads are anything larger; different sizes will work, but if you make them too large, they might be floppy. I'd probably stay under 10 mm.
