Lotus Drop Pendants Bracelets

So there's a lot of different ways to link together Lotus Drops to make jewelry other than earrings.  In particular, you can make this pendant.
Or you can flip the drops with the petals pointing in and make this pendant.
You can also make bracelets like this.
And here's a Doceri drawing showing some other possibilities for bracelets.

The pattern id very beautiful and unique. This one element can be composed into many variations to create different kind of compositions. One of rhem is entirely enough to create the earrings.

  2. Oh, I absolutely love that first pendant. I like the rest as well, but that first one is stunning.

    1. Thank you KJ. I'm glad you like it. That was the final arrangement I ended up using. You and I have the same taste, I guess.

  6. I don't know if you check out any new comments still, Gwen, but I was rereading some of your entries that your patterns link to. It occurred to me that a person could print out a series of the single units (as shown in your Doceri drawings), cut them into squares and play with them, rearranging them to form different patterns. Might be more effort than some would want to do but it would open this up to a lot of different ideas. And not just with your lotus drop pattern but with other repeating patterns from you.

    1. Hi Jude,
Yes, I still read all of the comments that come in on my blog. I don't respond unless I have something particular to say.

I agree that it would be a great idea to print out the pages, cut them up and rearrange the pieces. That is essentially what I did on the computer here, digitally, but I've been known to do it with paper too. I think it's a lot easier to design when you can physically manipulate the pieces rather than doing it all in your head, or trying to draw all of the repeats by hand.
